Happy July 4th!

I know everyone is off from work today, and possibly having trouble with few, if no, emails coming through.  So, I thought I would find the first interesting planned gift in the news for a holiday blog post and here it is:

In sum, the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is receiving a huge bequest (largest gift in its history) for Animals and the Environment.  By giving to a community foundation, it’s not likely they’ll see doggie spas anytime soon. Rather, “the foundation plans to spend several months drafting a strategic plan to target areas of most pressing need and how best to disburse the money.”
